Today is a historic day: the meeting for the first time in Cuba the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Pope of the Catholic Church.

It is amazing to recognize that, through music, a fraternal gesture like this was achieved in the Great closing concert «Forgiveness» of the Third International Festival of Sacred Music in Bogota 2014, which took place at the Tabernacle Chapel of the Cathedral of Colombia.

That day participated the famous and traditional Sretensky Monastery Choir and the Moscow Patriarchate delegation to Bogotá, headed by Archimandrite P. Tikhon. The first rapprochement between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church in Colombia. Unforgettable!
